Grid pres ensures that solid wastes are removed through pressure. It is used in removing the water of grid wastes and compacting the wastes. Solid wastes kept at grids are transferred to conveyors and send to the inlet of press. From here, pressure is applied through a screwed piston on the substances that enter into pressure area. The counter pressure needed at this point is provided by counter pressure created by solid substances accumulated in the discharge pipe. In the meantime, solid substances pass through water drainage holes and pour on the drop tray from where they are discharged.
